Smoke rises from the scorched earth where fire and magic clashed. The air is thick with the metallic scent of death. Luke’s body lies motionless at my feet, his dark magic fading into nothingness. His once-powerful aura is gone, the twisted corruption he used to strengthen himself now vanishing into the wind. He is no longer an Alpha. No longer a king. No longer a threat.
