Darren Jones had been a lineman for Crystal City Power and Light for decades, ever since his retirement from the Hero Program. The closest he came to danger since his retirement was a downed power line during the storm of '96. The department believed the juice had been cut off to that sector, but when he tried move the line from the road, 100,000 volts of electricity passed through his body. Normally, that would have been enough to deep fry any man. Luckily for him, he was not just any man and had brushed it off like it was nothing.
