My eyes fluttered open as a low, sleepy groan pulled from my chest, my body tangled up with Orion's, his chest rising and falling in a slow rhythm from sleep. A soft smile graced my lips as I stared at him, and I felt a strange thrum in my heart. It felt like something threadlike and warm was moving through my bloodstream, and I instinctively touched my neck, feeling the electric tingle of the mark.
