I knew I was probably just worrying for the sake of worrying at this point. It had been a week since my breakdown, since Orion had used his pheromone to calm me in the bathtub, coaxing me until sleep took me. For the first time in what felt like forever, I'd slept peacefully, no shadow of Knox lingering in my dreams. I woke up feeling refreshed, and when I opened my eyes, I found Orion with his head nestled against the front of my stomach like he was syncing himself with our Mlue.
