We sat on the couch, I and Roland, as I rubbed my protruding stomach, patting it to calm the baby living inside me, trying to get him to stop being so energetic as I munched on the grilled meat. Me and Meat were now best friends, and I had become so obsessed with it that I didn’t even need to go to the store anymore before the couple or their son brought it to our doorstep.
But I didn't care as I rubbed my bulging stomach, slowly soothing the playful creature inside me. “Careful, Mlue!” I admonished gently, and the baby stopped moving.
