Chapter 57 - Moment
Aurora's POV
Since that day, we had been meeting constantly. I sneaked out of the cave whenever I could to meet Sol, bringing food and hidden snacks to feed him because he had looked so malnourished when we first met. I nodded in delight now, seeing that healthy meat was already covering the rib-showing body I had witnessed on our first day.
Meeting him had quickly become the highlight of my time here, and I had forgotten that I was just a temporary habitant inhabiting Isabella's body. It felt so peaceful, so real.
When I got to our usual hidden spot, I swiftly changed back into my human skin and saw him already waiting eagerly for me. He lifted me up effortlessly and spun me around while I giggled softly. “I missed you,” I said softly against his chest.
“Me too,”
