After spending the rest of the morning surfing through lists of local jobs on the new brand phone Orion provided for me, I was surprised when he gave it to me this morning, rubbing the back of his neck with a shyness I didn't know. He said, “If you don't mind.”
And I didn't mind at all. My previous phone and everything else was taken by Knox that night. I let out a heavy sigh, not wanting to dive into unwanted memories as I blinked, going back to look at the job listings.
