I stared at Knox through hazy, blurring eyes, hot tears rolling down my cheeks fueled by anger, pain, and burning hatred. I had never felt this intensity of emotion in my life, feeling a scorching heat radiating all over my body. I didn't care about his reasons or why he was doing any of this, but I just wanted to kill this man.
Uncontrollable anger flared inside me like a volcano that wanted to erupt. I ground my teeth together, breathing heavily, my chest rising and falling rapidly in fury. My eyes flashed, and I nodded my head, staring at the monster sitting in front of me. I wanted him dead.
“Let me take over,” a deep, feral voice echoed suddenly inside my head as my ears rung as my breathing hitched.
