18 The first thing Anna felt upon waking was a sense of warmth, a gentle warmth that surrounded her, and then she became aware of Jack's arm wrapped around her belly. She couldn't help herself; she snuggled a little closer against him. With her cheek pressed into the pillow, Anna opened her eyes.
