David meets us on the bleachers with Teegan and Belinda for Ashley's first pep rally. He's staring at Lucifer unsure what to do. When I told him Lily and Ashley were roommates and that she had a dog. He wanted me to get Ashley out of there immediately and I completely agree with him. This b***h is f*****g crazy. Even by our standards. She's somewhere up in the clouds with Carter and Anthony.

She's sitting a few feet away from us under a black Victorian umbrella. She's got a pair of huge squared sunglasses sitting on her face. Tam is sitting next to her with Rudy. Carter and Kelly are as far away from her as they can possibly get without being too far from the group and Teegan is a few benches down from us trying his best not to look back at her. Beli is sitting next to him eating a Nerds Rope.

"I don't like her," David says after a while. "She might do something crazy to Ash,"

"Ash can take care of herself," I laugh remembering how she got in her face last night. "If anyone can break her in, it's Ashley,"

"I don't want them to be friends," he sighs.

"Oh, there they are," Anthony points at the girls as they walk out onto the field.

"Does it bother anyone else that she's buddies with Tiff?" Kelly asks. The two of them are trying to get the other girls in formation.

"It bothers me. She shouldn't be talking to basic ass bitches like that," Lily answers.

"De Laughrey," Carter warns her.

"Oh, come on. Your sister is as basic as they come. You got all the good genes," she laughs.

"Sorry, honey, but she's not wrong," Kelly agrees. David looks over at me and grins. "Anyway, how long have you two been friends?"

"Ugh, don't call us that. That's an insult to my heritage," she scoffs. Anthony is the only one that laughs.

"We've been working together for two years now," Carter answers Kelly.

"And why didn't you tell us?" Tam asks.

"You all hate her. She's good for business. The fact that she's got Villanueva's f*****g attention bothers me,"

"Why? You like her?" Lily instigates. David vividly tenses up.

"No, I don't but she's not going away so I might as well make use of her," he sneers. David looks up at me disapprovingly.

"What? They're getting along," I shrug. "She's teaching him and Beli how to get in with the Southside girls. They're establishing a new hierarchy at the high school and the BPLs. Ash is a f*****g natural,"

"That she is," Carter agrees. "I don't get what people like about her. She's genuinely a f*****g b***h. She slapped a couple of girls on Saturday for crying. Said some f****d up as s**t to them and they just love her,"

"She does have pimp-daddy vibes," Lily chuckles. Anthony is once again the only one to laugh.

"Yeah, she does," he agrees.

"What does that even mean?" Kelly asks.

"You can hate pimp daddy all you want but you'll always trust that he has your best interest at heart," he explains. "You do as you're told and he'll give you whatever you want,"

"Exactly," Lily nods.

"f**k me. There's two of them," David shakes his head.

"I want to know what the deal between you and Teeg is," Tam speaks up as the morning announcements start.

"There is nothing between Teeg and me," Lily answers. Teegan leans forward and turns all the way around to look at her. Beli laughs.

"Are you f*****g serious?" he asks her.

"Deadly," she nods.

"What was the f*****g problem?" he demands angrily.

"You're disgustingly f*****g clingy for starters. I blew you like once and it wasn't all that fun. Then you show up at my house like I f*****g owe you something. Come on, man. It was honestly the coke that night. I would destroy you," she laughs. Kelly is the one to laugh this time.

"f*****g psycho b***h," he huffs and turns around. Beli's shoulders shake but she doesn't make a sound.

"Arg," Lily groans. "One f*****g night with this girl and I'm catching feelings," she mumbles to herself. "I'm sorry, dude. There's just nothing there. It's not you. You're like boyfriend material. I like getting slapped around a little. I deal with and kill people on daily basis. That touchy lovie s**t you pulled was f*****g annoying. That's not what I'm into,"

"You could have said that," Teegan shakes his head.

"You're Teegan Phantom, dude," she laughs. "I didn't expect you to be lover-boy material. I've watched you pull teeth with pliers,"

"Yeah, I do dumb s**t like that on the daily. I don't want everything to be blood and knives," he scoffs. "I want to go home and not get throat checked after getting my d**k sucked,"

"Oh, no," Kelly laughs. The others try not to laugh but they do anyway. He looks back at us and flips us off before getting up to leave.

"Teeg," I call after him. He waves me off and disappears into the crowd below.

"I got it," Beli grins and follows after him.

"Did you throat check him after you blew him?" Tam asks Lily.

"It was an accident," she sighs. "My bracelet got caught in my choker and I pulled it really hard. I tried to apologize but my mouth was numb. I had been snorting all day and he got upset. Then the next day we were making out in the back seat of my dad's car and he was saying all kinds of weird s**t. I just wanted my dad to see us so it would piss him off. I didn't know he was, you know. Special,"

"What is that? What is special?" Kelly asks.

"He falls in love fast. We've never even had a real conversation. We work together," she rolls her eyes.

"I told you not to f**k around with him," Carter tells her. "He's related to Blackstone,"

"What is that supposed to mean?" I glare at him.

"You're a pretty boy, sweetie," Lily answers. "Your natural setting is all in or nothing," she sighs. "You're right. I should have listened to you. He was just really pretty, you know?"

"Yeah," the girls all answer. The guys all shake their heads annoyed.

"It never would have occurred to me that we'd have something in common, Creepy," Kelly tells her. "What happened to you after we tapped you to that statue?"

"A few things, shorty. I lost my mom. I got kidnapped. Twice. I've had eight step-moms since then. One of them was barely legal and I was diagnosed with IED last year after some s**t went down in Old Town,"

"She killed half of the Italian Familia by herself," Carter sighs. "Had to call in the calvary to get her out,"

"In my defense, they tried to kidnap and hold me for ransom. Wasn't going through that s**t again. I'm still doing laser s**t on my back from the last time. Hey, did my dad give you the Florida file?"

"Yeah, do you need it?" Carter asks her.

"Nah, I thought I lost it," she snorts. "The weirdest s**t happened to me last night,"

"Ashley tell you to knock your s**t off?" Kelly laughs.

"No, I mean yeah. But I slept for like eighteen hours straight. I don't know what it is about her, but I've never felt safe like that before. She was humming Amy Winehouse and putting her s**t away. It was-"

"Peaceful," I say.

"Yeah," she agrees. "So, please don't f**k this up for me. I promise I won't hurt her. She checked my pulse to see if I was still alive,"

"She does that to Dante too," David grins.

"Where'd you guys find her?"

"That right there," Kelly points at the field as Ashley and the other girls start lining up. "Is the Southside Queen. Jimenez had her on the sidelines. Stupid motherfucker had no idea what it was he had in his ranks. She's ours now. Anyone of us would kill for her, but it's cute to watch her do it,"

"Amen," Anthony nods. "Let's go. They even brought out the flag girls. This is how we should start every f*****g day. Toke and hoes," he turns around and hands me a blunt. "I'd be number one on the honor roll every year. s**t, I might even get perfect attendance,"

"Were you rolling this whole time?" Lily asks him. He gets up and sits between her and Tam. He hands her another blunt.

"Do you remember when you made me stick my head in the macaroni jug in fourth grade?" he asks her. She laughs. "I knew that day that I was going to marry you one day, Lillianne,"

"That's not my name. It's just Lily," she laughs taking a hit from his blunt before handing it back to him.

"Well, Lily," he corrects himself. "You can throat-check me on purpose whenever the f**k you want. You can bring your little dog too. He can watch," he hands her the blunt back. "I promised Ash I was going to put a little surprise in Jessica's locker. Keep that, baby. I rolled it just for you. It has a little bit of a kick in it,"

"Thank you," she smiles at him.

As the music begins he makes his way to the bottom of the bleachers and jumps off the side when he's low enough for the fall not to be too suspicious to the human eye. I turn my attention to Kelly who doesn't say anything but the look on her face speaks for itself.

"He is as lively as ever," Lily muses.

"It's gotten worse," Carter scoffs. "Seriously, though. Stay away from him, Lily. He'll murder your entire family and write you sick little notes if you try to get rid of him. You got enough s**t going on,"

I look back at her to see her looking down at the blunt in her hands with a little smile on her face before she puts it between her lips. She offers some to Tam who shakes her head. Anthony doesn't smoke the same s**t the rest of us do. I have an off feeling about her coming back into our lives.

The cheerleaders all begin their routine. Ashley both looks out of place and like she belongs out there. Her movements have more sway than some other girls. She is killing it and me. I can feel her excitement inside of me building up the way it does when she's about to orgasm. I have to adjust myself to make room in my jeans. David looks over at me knowingly before taking the blunt.

"What is she feeling?" he whispers.

"Everything," I answer. "If she keeps this s**t up, I'm going to need to feed again, soon,"

"You guys should come visit me. Maybe she'll find you a snack in the shape of a perky blonde college girl," he whispers in my ear. "I think we can have fun with this. It's always best in the beginning,"

We all watch as she's pushed up to the top of the pyramid. She bends in ways I've never seen her bend before. The big smile on her cherry-red lips makes my heart flutter. Her eyes meet mine. She winks at us and then she's doing some crazy f*****g stunt to get down.

"I'm not ready to share her yet," I admit. He looks over at me.

"Danny, you can hurt her if you take too much or if you keep yourself from feeding properly," he shakes his head.

"I don't want to think about that right now. I want to enjoy this,"

"I got to go. Avery gets out of class soon. I just came to help Teeg clear out his suite," he gets up. I lean back letting him through.

"I gotta talk to you guys," Carter says and excuses himself. Kelly comes and sits next to me.

"He's right, Danny. We got a lot of s**t to do, right now. You can't take too much. I need her aware and I need you focused," she taps my hand. "Go, smack that ass but if you're late for class, I will drag your ass out by your ear,"
