I can see the back gate of the school from Dante's dorm room window. We're eight stories off the ground. Carter and I are on complete lockdown. He's working from his computers and four different phones. We're only allowed to go to our suites, classes, and the gym on the fourth floor. Someone has to be with us at all times. Right now, Dante is in the shower here in the room with me. This is getting to me. I feel like I'm trapped. It feels like I'm backed into a corner and I hate it.
"Villanueva," Carter knocks on the door. I get up and open the door.
"What's up?" I ask to find him and Kelly standing there. She holds up a black clothes protector and a couple of shopping bags.
"Lily and I got your stuff for your competition tomorrow,"
