Avyanna ran to the scene. People were moving around solemly as if nothing had happened.
" Excuse me"... She spoke to an elderly lady who was cleaning up her shop." I heard screams coming from this area."
The old lady nodded her head disdainfully. " Seems you're new here."
Avyanna was suprised . " New?
"It was the sound of the beast. it just announced to us that it is coming to our village to feed on the coming of the new moon."
" Isn't that tomorrow night"?
" Yes. The ancestors of our village long ago made a pact with an beast terrorizing them . It devoured their people without remorse. they finally came to the conclusion that on the dawn of the new moon , it could take as much people as it wanted without any resistance."
"And you are okay with that?" . it was the voice of the lady that Avyanna and her male counterpart had bumped into.
The woman shrugged " its our tradition. Now I advise you to get inside before them and shut the doors. Youths like you are perfect prey." The old lady turned her backs on them and entered her little shop.
Avyanna sighed and turned to her friend " We got to help this people, Levi!".
"No. I see no good reason we should meddle in their affairs. lets just go on our way."
Eva nodded her head. She was the Character holder for Avyanna.

The duo proceeded to the nearest tavern in order to think of their next action. Kyra and Conrad followed since they had nowhere to go and needed to pass time. After introductions to moved on to the main agenda.
"So are we going to find the beast ? Kyra enquired.
"Maybe we'll ask around"?
"And how would you do that?" Levi raised an eyebrow." Um....Excuse me , have you seen a monster, yea tall, has sharp teeth and is coming to kill you all tomorrow night, and I am definitely giving you false hope that I am going to slay it ???
At that moment a man who was passing by them stopped at their table.
"Are you talking about the beast?
"This is a private conversation so..." Levi began until Avyanna covered his mouth.
"Yes." Conrad replied.
"Well. I think I can help you. Follow me."

The man led them to an old building where an old man was manning the front desk.
"Hills, I've got you new ones ". He said and took off.
"Wait." A mysterious guy dripped us off at a sketchy building . Arent we supposed to be scared to death"? .Obi asked.
Avyanna and the rest shivered behind Levi.
THEY were so dead.
"So you're the new adventurers, are you?
"Who's asking " Levi retorted.
The old man laughed. "You're a feisty one . I supposed you've heard all about our little village and its monsters.
" Tall tales." Levi spoke.
The old man stared at him then spoke." No . They arent my son disappeared last year during the full moon. Not only him.Others too. Marry Ann the black smith daughter also vanished.Many brave people have decided to face the monster and we'll like you to aid us."
Levi seemed hesitant.
" The job is worth, 300 ducats .."
Avyanna eyes simmered green as she hit her hand on the counter.

As they left the building, Conrad and Kyra decided to go their seperate ways.
" Hold up :-) Your not coming with us?"Avyanna said.
"Nah. It was nice meeting you " Conrad and Kyra bowed.
"Wait a second. We have to see this through.Think about the money!!!!
"And at the end you'll get your share and can go any where you like" She whispered in Kyra' s ears.
Why not? Its only a few days. Conrad addded.
Kyra was defeated .
"Hurray, we are now a TEAM!!.I think the old man said we should head south to the forest."
As The four walked toward the forest.Avyanna pulled Levi back. " What did that old man say about those other adventurers?
Levi stared ahead." He said nothing. That means none lived to tell the tale."
"Guys" Su ling spoke. "We are going to be alright, right????
