As Tuff fed Ash, and Angel snored away on my bed, my stomach grumbled reminding me that I hadn’t yet ate today. I blushed and glanced at Axel to see if he had noticed but his eyes were locked ahead of him as if he was some statue at this point. I didn’t want to go back to the kitchen. I don’t know if I could handle seeing the happy couple again. My stomach growled again, this time even louder than before. With a sigh I left the room, with Axel following behind at a distance. I somehow made it back to the kitchen in the maze that was this place and was relieved at how empty it was.
