Chapter 9 Jake Jake shoved his cell down in his pocket and jumped in his truck. His heart pounded the whole way over to Stephanie’s work. He hadn’t been able to get her out of his mind, but his bear was still yet to recognize her as his mate. When she called, he had hoped it wouldn’t have anything to do with the case. Now that it did, he was glad the bastard had delivered something. Hopefully there would be some sort of print or DNA from the envelope.
