My eyes flutter open. Slowly I begin to regain consciousness, a flurry of memories running through my head. I wince, shifting uncomfortably on the platform beneath me. A faint voice whispers “She's awake.” I blink rapidly, clearing the haze from my vision. The warm, golden glow of the setting sun washes over me, illuminating my unfamiliar surroundings. I glance down at my leg, my eyes trailing my body. What the? Where are my clothes?? I'm wearing a big white shirt that stretches only up to my thigh and nothing else! I sit up immediately with a jolt, only to realize my right hand is cuffed to the bed frame…. Again! “Take it easy, ma’am,” a gentle voice advises. I blink twice, my brows furrowing in confusion staring at the young woman cleaning my leg injury. “Who…What are you doing?”
