Realization dawns on me but I keep my face steady. He's talking about Charlotte? They're planning to have an anniversary for Charlotte? A death anniversary?
My mind slowly creeps back to last night's terror. I merely held Charlotte's photos and Kendrick went haywire. This? He might end up loosing his mind forever.
Luke continues “The Hawkins family lost their daughter, Charlotte Hawkins.” He hesitates a bit, collecting his thoughts, before saying “The Hawkins have been like a family to us, honoring her would mean the world to them”
