Kya POV

Rushing to my room, I picked up my phone that has been ringing non stop for the last 12 minutes.

Can you give me a break, I said to myself as I picked the phone in attempt to check who the caller is.

Almost startling me, the phone rings out loud. Miguel was right, I really do need to change this ringtone. I said to myself as I picked up the call from an unknown number.

Hello, am I unto Kya? A soft voice speaks over the phone

Uhm, yes, who is this please? I inquired

Hi Kya, it's Anna from the Café. Anna responds

Hi Anna. What's up? I asked

So I wanted to ask if you'd be free today for a dress fitting. Anna said over the phone

Yes I am, but only towards evening as I have some documents I'm yet to complete. I replied

Okay good then, is 5:30 okay with you? Anna asked

Yes it is. I answered

Okay perfect, send me your address, I'd have my driver come pick you up. She said.

Uhm that won't be necessary, I can just take the bus. I said trying not to inconvenience anyone.

Naa girl, that's not a problem. I insist. Anna persists.

Okay if you say so. Thank you. I said

See you soon darling. Cáio. She said as she hung up the phone.

Dropping my phone, I went back to drying out my body, putting on a sweat shirt and joggers I laid out, I went back to work.

Time was far spent as I focused on completing the documents sent to me by the Manager. I heard a loud ring as I picked up my phone.

Hello, am I unto Miss Kya? A manly voice spoke over the phone

Yes please. I responded

Okay I'm right opposite your house, I'm here to pick you up, from Miss Anna. He said strictly.

Oh I completely forgot about that, I'd be there in a few. I said hanging up

Adding final corrections to the document, I sent it via email and closed my laptop. I grabbed my bag and hurried downstairs, so I don't piss of the driver. He came all the way here I don't want to add to his stress.

Chill girl, where are you headed in a rush. Jas asked

Oh I didn't know you were home, I thought you were out with your friends. I replied

You didn't answer my question, she inquires

Oh sorry about that,I have a meetup with a friend. Don't wait up for me. I said hugging her as I practically dashed out the room.

Getting outside, I saw a shiny black sleek SUV, one of the latest ones if I'm not mistaken. Crossing over I went to the drivers side of the car and waved.

Hi I'm here. I said with a smile.

Please get in. The driver said as he got down to open the door for me.

Oh wow fancy. I thought to myself, she sure knows her cars.

Feeling the vibes of a rich chic girl I adjusted myself unto the back of the car. As we rode down to Anna's fashion house I tried to form a conversation with the Driver.

If I may ask what's your name? I asked cooly

Max. He replied shortly

Ohh okay good. I replied as I rested back. He doesn't seem to be conversant, I thought.

Getting to the fashion house, I was beyond wowed, I knew Anna is from a rich family but I didn't assume her Fashion house to be this big. Not to even think she's the owner of the one and only “FASH AND SASS” one of the biggest fashion house here in Manhattan. Stepping out of the luxurious car, I went inside, the large glass door opening up, I headed for the front desk.

Hello I'm here to see Anna. I said with a smile

Hi. The receptionist said looking down on me. I'd put a call through.

Weird. If I had known I was coming to the FASH and SASS fashion house,I sure would have put a lot more effort in my outfit. But here I am with a sweat shirt and joggers. What and irony I thought to myself

She'd be down in a minute. The receptionist whom I read her name tag to be Bella said with a hiss, bringing me out of my thoughts.

Okay thanks. I said as I waited for Anna to come downstairs

I didn't know some people still look down on people because of their dress sense, but I don't blame her. Different folks different strokes.

Hi Kya!! Anna said extending her arms for a hug.

Hi Anna. Good to see you too. I laughed from the tight hug

Okay let me take you upstairs. She said practically dragging me, while I followed suit.

Looking around I can't help but open my mouth in amusement, from the pretty colourful walls painted in gold background, to the drawings of different styles of outfits on it, down to the outfits on the mannequins, I can't help but widen my eyes in amusement.

Nudging me forward, Anna takes me to what I'd consider a private room, probably for the VIPS or just for her because it looks wayy different from what I saw outside. It looks like I've stepped into the fashion section of heaven as the walls are painted in white colour with an accent of glitters and a few beautiful clothes hanging on mannequins looking so real they could pass as humans.

Wow, I saod. I didn't know you own this place. It looks far beautiful in person. I said admiring her work.

Thank you Kya, welcome to “FASH and SASS”. Anna said excitedly. Fun fact I design all of the outfits made here,don't listen to those gossip blogs, come let me show you some of them. She said taking me to a heart like a couch.

I am beyond wowed and surprised at the beautiful sketches of dresses I'm seeing.

Anna, you're super talented. I said genuinely

Thank you darling. She responded. Now to the ordeal of the day, your outfit for the gala. Come I've picked out a few, you should try them on. She said showing me a collection of outfits she picked out.

Picking up the first, it is a red, long flowy dress, with an off shoulder and a bow at the back, and a slit so sharp,it can cut a skin.

Ughh it doesn't go well with your skin colour, Go try on this, Anna said as she handed me a gold mixed with burgundy dress.

I put on the dress and headed towards the large mirror, I am blown away by how pretty this dress is and how well it fits, it's was like it was done for my body and my body only, from the v shaped neck that stops just beneath my boobs, to the mermaid floor lengthed style, the slit not too high or too low. I'm beyond amazed

It looks perfect on you. Anna said voicing out my thoughts. And now just the right shoes go to on it. She said handing me a gold 4 inches heels with glitter and shimmers.

Argh! I really should have you model for me one of these days, you have a body to die for and a skin just like that of an angel. She said with a wide smile.

Ha, you must be joking but I'd love to model for you. It should be fun I said.

Looking at the dress for a price tag, I asked, I can't see a price tag on this, or am I just borrowing it for the night?

Oh no darling, I designed it specifically for you and only you, it's all yours Kya. Anna said excitedly

Oh my gosh, really? Thank you soo much I'd treasure this my whole life. I said suprised because the cloth must be super expensive.

It's nothing darling, I'd do way more just to see you wearing an outfit I made. I'm sure no one would be able to take their eyes off you. Anna said clapping her hands.

I can't wait to hang out with you on the gala night. Anna said with a soft smile. By the way I'd be coming to pick you up myself, so be ready by 6 pm. She added.

Okey dokey, I'd be all ready by then. I said picking up the dress and shows in the box that was packed for me

Do you want a tour of this place since you're free for the rest of the day, Anna asked with a slight doubt.

Hell yeah, can I take pictures too. This place is literally to die for. I said excitedly

No problem girl, I'm good with pictures. She said as she takes my hands to show me the rest of the building.

Hanging out with Anna is so fun, I almost forgot about the ordeal I had earlier this week.

“You need to get married within three months”. I shake off my head as I remember the Kamila’s statement. Today is for fun and fun alone. I'll worry about getting a married later.
