Claire walked the final three blocks to the Tindari. The trolley had made good time, being that Christmas was a few short days away and few people had boarded and disembarked at this hour. By the time she pulled open the door of the restaurant, she felt calmer, even though her stomach complained about the missed noon meal. It was Anthony who greeted her this time instead of the maître d. Her heart leapt at the sight of him.
