I could barely focus at work throughout the day. Kade's cold words had gotten to me far more than I was willing to admit out loud. I'd left his office the moment he told me to get out. I mean, there wasn't really much I could say after he blatantly told me he didn't discuss his personal life at work.
Which was why I was currently on my way to his house. Though I was still quite upset and thrown off by his attitude and rudeness, I knew I had been at fault first.
