Chapter 16 First Day Part 2

CAIN'S POV
After getting home from the family dinner, I had to jump into a cold bath. My body felt like it was on fire being in the same room as her.
I glanced down at my hand, my mind going back to how soft her hand was and how she kept peeking at me when she thought I wasn't looking.
As I finished showering, it felt like no amount of cold water could stop the raging heat building in my body. I kept picturing her laugh, her smile, her scent, and the way she said my name. I could listen to her say it all day, even better, it would be all night.
I walked back into my bedroom and lay on my bed staring at the ceiling.
"I thought we were supposed to stay away from our mate," asked my wolf Titan.
"We are.." I said back quietly as I placed my hands on my face, shutting my eyes.
"She liked it when we touched her..I could feel it" he said.
"I know and that is the problem," I said, letting out a deep sigh.
Titan let out a small whine but retreated back into my mind. I know how painful it is for us to keep doing this, but if she came to hate us for what we are, we would feel 1000 times worse.
I just can't stop the pull. I want her in every possible way. Just seeing how she was with her son Jax I already began imagining her with our pups. Jax would be a good big brother.
"I miss them.." I said out loud. They weren't far from me, just a jog away, and I would be with them.
As soon as I thought that, I sat up on my bed and decided I would make them mine. I won't fight the mate bond, but I wouldn't tell her about the pack yet. If I can't even win their hearts normally, then I wouldn't deserve them at all.
After talking with Titan about what we could do to make our mate and pup fall for us, I finally went to sleep ready to put our plan into action.
It was now 7:30 in the morning, and I was tucking my white button-down shirt into my black slacks, my normal work attire.
"What do you think she'll wear? Do you think she'll dress up for us?" asked Titan, prancing around in my mind.
"Probably something formal? And who knows, I doubt she'll dress up for us?" I said, rolling my eyes in the mirror as I straightened my tie.
"You have no imagination, you stupid human. What if she wears a pencil skirt? With an ass like that on full display....bouncing with every sway of her hips.. Or a dress like she wore yesterday.." Titan said, practically drooling.
"Will you stop it already? I don't need your horny self making it any more difficult than it is," I shouted back at him.
That horny wolf actually laughed back and said, "Saying that while you're already hard...please, you don't need my help. You are just as needy for our mate as me."
I couldn't say anything back because he was right. I so badly want to mark and mate with Lila already. When I saw her come out yesterday in her little yellow sun dress I almost came in my pants.
I was already struggling to control myself after accidently seeing her naked. Even though I had let my claws out into my palms to try and compose myself, the moment I saw her I almost lost it again.
I wanted to push her back into the house and f***k her right there on the floor. To feel her legs wrapped around my waist as I pushed my d***k into the deepest part of her. To feel her claw on my back as she came undone beneath me. To kiss her so deeply she could barely breathe.
I placed my hands on my dresser, gripping it so tightly I could hear the wood cracking. Just remembering it was making me hard all over again. I looked at my reflection in the mirror, my grey eyes now pitched black, seeing that I couldn't help but laugh at myself for thinking I couldn't push her away.
After 10 minutes, I was finally able to calm down enough to leave. I got in my truck and drove over to my parent's house. As I parked outside of it, I took a deep breath preparing myself to spend all day with her.
Would I be able to last that long before I tried pinning her to my desk? I shook my head, realizing I didn't have a choice. I had to win her heart before I could even think about being able to mate.
I got out of the truck and went to stand on the porch to wait for her. To my surprise, it wasn't long before I could smell my mate walking my way. I glanced down at my watch and noticed it was still 15 minutes from when I said we would meet.
I chuckled to myself, wondering was my little mate this diligent or was she excited to see me again. I decided to just think of the ladder and smiled, hearing her footsteps get closer.
I leaned against the front of the house. I guess she hadn't noticed me as she looked deep in thought until I heard her say, "I wonder what he was thinking when he decided to hire me?"
I couldn't help but laugh internally, so I decided to tell her a few reasons why I decided on hiring her, except for the biggest reason being I wanted her near me. I wanted her so close to me. If I could have her sit on my lap while I worked, that would be a dream come true, but since I can't yet. Having her in the same office space was something I could settle on for the time being.
As I stepped closer to her while giving my reasons, I noticed she stared back at me with the same intensity. My made decided she wanted to be bold today, then I should definitely reward her, I thought, as I placed my hand on her head.
I decided I wasn't going to hide my feelings for her and I meant it as I stared down at her as she explained what she did for work before coming here.
My reasoning began to weaken as I kept looking at her cute face, so I started walking to the truck in order to stop myself from kissing her.
I held the door open for her like a gentleman, but as she walked past me my thoughts were anything gentle.
"Our mate is so sexy in fitted clothes. It's so cute how she keeps trying to hide her stomach with her hands. We should make sure to tie her hands when we f***k her. I want to see her body and all its glory," said Titan.
"I do too, but not right now. It's taking everything in me not to push her face into the passenger seat and rip those slacks to shreds so I can see her bare ass. The way I could hear her moan in pleasure as she bounced her ass on me.." I said, stopping myself mid-sentence.
I managed to keep my face smiling at her even though on the inside I was a drooling mess.
After closing the door and walking around to my side, I couldn't help but think, "Today is going to be a long day. Will I actually be able to control myself?"
