My heart skipped every other beat as I gazed into her eyes. That unique mix of green and brown would never not be fascinating. They were wide with surprise, trailing down from my face to my arms holding her up and then to her breasts.
And then they narrowed into slits.
I braced myself for the blow that was to come and the hunter did not disappoint. A loud cracking sound echoed in the room as her palm connected with my cheek and then I found myself flying backwards after receiving a kick to my midsection.
