(Rebecca's POV) "Rebecca?" Hannah's voice is high, startled. She steps out of Sean's arms and presses her hand to her chest. "Oh my God — I didn't realize you were — are you okay?" I look at the coffee on the floor. I look at his hands, still hovering where her waist was. I look at the tray, upside down, the napkin soaking brown. I don't say anything. I bend down and pick up the tray. Hannah looks at the mess. Then looks at me. "What happened? Why are you here?" Why am I here. She knows why I'm here. She asked me to bring coffee. She walked into my office, smiled that smile, and sent me to that door knowing exactly what I'd find on the other side.
