Prologue: A Case of Death It was one afternoon. A man and his family of three slowly fade away into an eternal dream. "They are poisoned." Said a policeman at the scene. The policeman was a middle-aged guy with a stubby beard, wheat skin, and quite buff for a middle-aged person. As he moves around the crime scene. His buddy, holding a notepad along with a pen beside him, asked, "How?" The policeman's buddy was another policeman. The buddy had a scurry hairstyle along with his narrow jawline. He looked very weak and pale. Both of them look comical together. However, their faces were dartingly solemn. "Vent." The first policeman answered softly before leaving the scene with his eyes frowning. "The poisoned man is at it again, huh?" His buddy faintly remarks before leaving as well. Both policemen have been through many cases like this frequently in the past few weeks. Most of the people that were poisoned are closely related to the national ranking of a popular VRMMORPG game called Fantasy Online. Most of which are in the top thousands while some were in the late ten thousand. However, this is not the most important topic. The most important topic right now was that the dead man was the fourth person that was close to getting the next chunk of trillions USD. Especially so when he had already gotten the key component to unlocking the final sequence to acquire that chunk of wealth from the game creator. The first policeman kept his eyebrows frowning while thinking about who the suspect was. Regarding the victims... It was a man in his mid-thirties, a child at the age of ten or younger, and the wife was in his early thirties. The three were a happy family and tonight their existence had faded into eternal darkness. The incredulity of Fantasy Online could be imagined by the death of three. Especially when a world of wealth is laid out there in the game for anybody lucky enough to chance upon it. For those who did put their fingers on it. It was a dream come true. The allure of the game went beyond the wildest of dreams. A huge amount of luck and a little fortune in exchange for a chunk of wealth to last an entire lifetime. Anybody would be eager to be the next trillionaire. Thus, end the prologue.
