when they were done with him and with everything been said, he was sent back to his cell and was told they needed to do some tests to make sure he would survive the animal enhanced DNA. He and subject 46 that was Peter had been the two that survived the the serum tests, that was when serum was been made and prefected to the state it was now. And with the two subjects ready they would now began the mutation process on them . These two subjects had been the reason that the serum had been a successful and they had moved to the second phase. And to start with him and Peter who were the most compatible candidates from the 60 they have had in the firet process, which required to test actual subjects as they prefected serum. About 58 subjects had died in the first group, they would test newly made serums that were not ready on these people, which lead to so many failed experiments and other possible losses. It had taken them a great deal of time but they were getting results which was good and reaching the original goal of there research. And they had 20 new more candidates who were still undergoing treatments and been experimented on to see if they can reach the required specification to enhance there genetic DNA , the genetic enhancement was needed in order for the new mutation serum to be infused on them, without the that the body would reject the mutation DNA and causing deformity or death to the candidate. So far the doctors were pleased and excited with first two candidates subject 46 been the longest and subject 51 who had presented extraordinary abilities to adapt to the side effects that came with the serum and the body adapting to the serum regardless to the environment and having rare blood types which made the serum alter the original genetic gens was expectional. There DNA had changed and presented with fast healing, which they had seen when running tests on tissue cells samples they took for the candidates. They would test on the tissue cells before testing on the actual candidates, they did not want to lose any more people as they would have to start looking for more human candidates and the work and time would be long to restart the process and reach a point of getting results and they did not have that time anymore to enhance human cells so they accept the serum or mutation. The people sponsoring there project were becoming impatient, alot of money, resources and lives had gone into there work.

As Carlos was been taken back to his cell, he looked around to see if they were any changes but saw none these was no way for him escape this place and him trying was a dead end , even through he needed to find a way to save himself and then come back to save the ones that were still breathing and alive. It was sad to be the ones still alive after so many had died due failed experiments. He had stopped praying for himself lately only did to ask God to watch his family and Anna.

When he reached his cell he noticed that Peter was not in his cell, he had stayed up waiting but Peter so he could talk to him on what to do next but Peter was never brought back to his cell. Another week went by with no sign of Peter, he wondered if his friend had dead, cause from the time he had been there only those who died during the time of the experiment were not returned to there holding cells and he had also watched others die from the most excruciating pain, screams that still haunted him just in the cells next to him, he started to lose hope and decided he would ask the guards what happened to Peter when he could, he needed to know what happened to his friend, they had promised eachother they would survive this place and help eachother escape the house of horrors they called it, with the death screams of its victims. He and Peter had seen people come and die and only them had been alive from all the others. Sadly they did not know what they did with the bodies of subjects that died, did there families even know to stop hoping and wishing for the return of there loved ones or they kept waiting and praying not knowing that the people they were praying for had died due to been unable to bear the experiments or had been killed by the body's rejection to the serums that was been given , he felt bad and was really sad. He swear if he came out of here alive he would help and provide protection and food for these families.

The following week came by so fast and he grown more and more agitated and he was very anxious and everything inside him screamed and asked him to run, he thought the only thing thats was good about the past weeks was that, he was feed more then he had been there and he had been able to share what he was given with the ones around him . The moment the door to the dungeon made a sound and the usual guards came, he knew they came for him and he had mentally prepared himself for the worst to come. They stopped by his cell unlocked it and asked him to walk out and follow them. He did as he was told walked out of his cell and up the stairs. When walking up the stairs he asked the guards on peter, they assured him that Peter was okay and that he was just moved to a different holding cell due to certain circumstances they could not tell him. They was silence but he trusted there word and became abit relieved, they reached the entrance to the same lad he always went to but this time the setting was different, the doctors were already there, a bed was put up in the centre of the room, this time the bed had straps and belts around it , like they needed those to hold him down he got scared at the thought of been held down as they cut him up. He looked around saw they were different and weird looking serums and specimens around the room.

The two doctors were very excited to finally try the mutation DNA on him. The blood cell samples they took from him weeks back had presented positive results when been tested on, they waited to see if the will be any changes but samples been altered to the animal DNA they had infused with it.and changing, which was the positive reaction and responses they were looking for . emarkable results were been seen from subject 46, he had responded well with the animal DNA which was infused with him, they had kept him separate him from the others as he was a danger to most of them and the cella couldn't hold , he had become very stronge and his transformation had not been friendly, one of the doctors and still undergoing medical treatment with what he had done to him. So Peter was locked in his cage with stronger bars to keep him in. So far he had not changed physically but he had shown a great deal of strength and fast reflexes and became more muscular then before. And now they were about to infuse the different type of animal DNA into subject 51 and observe him for a while and take safety measures which they had put in place after what they experienced with subject 46. After they inject him with the mutation DNA he would be locked separately from the ones in the cells , cause the cell he was in before would mot be idea for new abilities he might sure and they need to keep an eye on him in an enhanced cage with cameras and equipment that could monitor changes im his heat signatures they hoped see good response as to how he body accepts the Mutation DNA.

They asked Him to get on the bed and lay on his back, which he did and they strapped him in and asked him to relax and not try to fight the infusion. It's the first time they had ever warned him of the experiment , that it will be quite painful, cause his body cells will be changing and combining with the animal DNA, in short, they were altering his DNA and he needed to accept and try to adapt to the change. It won't take a day but he will be able to feel and see changes soon. He mentally prepared himself for what he thought he was to expect which he did not even know of, they started by putting drip , they gracefully put a cannula,( intravenous fluids or IV) on his right hand and in the fluid that's was connected to his drip they injected two serums, they animal DNA and the mutation serum. It was going to be slow but painful. They strapped his head and gave him something to bit on and mobilised his mouth movement. They connected the heart monitor and made sure is was working well, it was beating very fast and they asked him to be calm and relax, so that they could have normal heart reading and when he finally managed to settle and relax. They set a timer and put the recording on, they touched cannula opened it to start with mutation DNA and then they injected the serum to the bag containing the infusion which was attached to his hand. He felt it as the fluid start to enter his blood stream , at first he felt nothing and kind of became more calm and then he felt the like pins and needles stinging and the worst kind of pain began he screamed, he thought he was been reaped apart from the inside, everything inside him hurt like he organs were been cut then put together again and it was his body waa burning. He was screaming but no sound was coming out. He thought he would die but that did not come easily. His body started to shake volently what kept him in place was the straps , it felt endless then it stopped and he vision become blurred and he blacked out. He could hear the heart monitor going wild and the slow then normal beeping.

The Doctors seat back to watch the whole transformation, and the recorded every second of. They watched him violently shake and his screams where nothing but music to there ears but maybe next time they should find a way to mute the sound. They only moved close to him when the heart monitor slowed down for some minutes and returned back to normal heart beeping again , they breathed out and were relieved , there experiment was successful. They just needed to keep a close eye on him and they were going to do that without even him knowing. When the last drop of fluid was down they removed the cannula and only moved him when they were sure he was okay him and out of danger. He was moved to a different holding cause they had no idea what skills he will purpose when he awakens and they also wanted to monitor him closely. They observed him for days while he was unconscious, he was out for some days and they were worried that he would be in unable to woke up, they would be unable to run further tests on him. They watched him and noted down any present physical changes he he was showing on the outside, all they needed was for him to awake so they could continue with there work.
