Vald's Awakening

Carlos had been feeling confined of late, like the space in the room was enclosing on him, he could move but the place had limited his activities and movements. He had never felt so closed up in a single room like he was now, the cell he was in before was even more smaller then the room he was in now. He felt very suffocated inside which was strange and the more that feeling grew so was did his determined to break free. His body had been acting strangely, had this unknown feeling of wanting freedom and a sense of direction. He could feel his body getting heated up and he was very agitated, he had that nagging feeling like something inside him felt confined in a small space, now the only thing he was not sure of was if that small space as the room he was locked in or the small space was his body, cause it really felt that way and not the actual room his was in. And every now and then he would start to heat up and sweat alot and feel like his insides wanted to come out. He took small breaths to calm himself and considering he had been feeling that way since he had waken up after whatever it was they gave him. Sometimes he would feel like he is been pulled in the back of his mind and his subconscious would take over, all he would do was just watche and observe but today was different he felt the need to be out and it drove him mentally crazy and he was scared cause he had no idea what was happening to him. He was no longer strapped to the bed but chained, he had a chanin connected to his leg and he was locked up like some type of dangerous animal. These humans were evil and cruel to do what they did to him and others candidates without a care of there humanity. He wanted to reap each one apart and let them experience the pain and torture he and others endured, where did that come from he thought, he couldn't reap anyone or torture them, he was not evil like them.

He hated these Doctors and scientists so much for doing what they were doing to him, and for taking him away from his family and Anna, never a day went by that he didn't think of them, they were his hope and reason for his survival. He wanted to get through all this so that he could see his family and he wanted to escape this hell so he could get back to his life and his family and make sure no other person would have to go through what he did the past years , he had lost count of the days, weeks , months and years that went by, each day he wished he would die but when he thought of his mom and sister his reason for staying alive out weighed the reason for him to give up on getting out of that place.

He had started noticing some changes in him , he had become slightly muscular, and his senses were high , his hearing, his sight and smell were enhanced. And another thing he noticed was he could feel heat signatures when people passed by or came near the room he was locked in. All the time it would happen, he would suddenly became alert like he was ready to attack or charge. He knew something was off with him but couldn't really pin point what it was exactly and he just assumed it had something to do with whatever he was been given. They had been checking on him and trying to see his new abilities and changes but somehow they could not see those changes cause his body would not allow it, they were not happy with the results. Whatever was inside him was not allowing them to get those results but Carlos could feel the changes in him.

He sensed someone close and shut his eyes and pretended to be asleep. His two favourite Doctors came through. The checked to see if he was awake after that they called out his experiment name and poked him with some long stick. He opened his eyes and they told him they where going to take him to some lad just to run some test and see if they can redo the serum injections cause the first one they did had not shown physical results or signs they expected. He listened quite well and watched them live as the guards walked in to help him out and take in the examination area. He was asked to get on the bed , which he got on the bed and lay on his back facing upwards, after a while he was strapped to the bed, his head , hands and legs were mobilised to the bed, they started by doing a full body scan to see if they were any internal changes or abnormalities, that they could not see physically. After checking for hours they were shock cause they found little to no change. They questioned how did he not change or react to the drug considering he survived the mutations serum and was still physically health and okay. Something was wrong cause the dose they give would have altered his DNA , yes his physical changes where not much just him becoming more muscular then the thin tall boy he was when he was brought here, other then that they were no other changes they could find.

When they were done examing him, they seat down and looked at the charts they had and came to a decision to do another mutations infusion, by increasing the dose twice what he was given last time, and after they are done, they will need to put him under heavy observation. Hoping he would react and give them, the results they where looking for. They had a deadline to meet and if all there work came out positive after the second administration on Carlos. They would have to present there work to the government who were sponsoring there project. After that the government would want all or most of there solders to be under the mutation treatment, they would have enhanced solders at their control who would kill without remorse with supper strength and abilities. They would make millions and millions of money with there research. They were happy with test subjects 46 who was under there control and was show great abilities , strength, speed and good hunting skills and sense of smell. They had managed to tame him to there likely. They arranged all they needed around and started the second mutant infusion.. which again was dreadfully painful but not as bad as the first dose. He blacked and all went silent except for the pain he felt and his body let go and embraced the pain.

They watched him and he struggled with the straps they held him on the bed with, he started to shake violently as the serum started to conbine and altered with his current DNA. The heart monitor attached to him started to go high and out of control. Them seeing his reaction to the drug, was a magical and something that they loved to see in there subjects. He then let out a violent animal scream and everything went silent and started to tremble really bad, they thought the bed would break if he continued to shake. After an hour of him shaking and screaming, everything just stopped and he became very still , his chest was moving up and down slowly, an indication showing that he was breathing and the deeping sound of his heart was now stable, the doctors breathed relief, they were not sure what would happen after administering the second dose, it was high risky and very dangerous but they had to make sure their experiment worked. Now all they had to do was wait to see what happens, so they can go to the next phase. They were happy he had passed and survived the scary stage after the infusion where most candidates have lost there lives. They needed to observe him and see what will happen after a day or two. He passed out due to the pain and serum.

While Carlos passed out, Vald had finally manifested in him, he could now try to communicate with his human host he called him and he could now have total control of his human host's body. He didn't really know his new abilities but felt the need to release and reveal himself, but with the medications his human host had been given he was still weak to release himself. He knew his name and could now speak and he would just observe and take control when his host was asleep. He will wait for his human to wake up and from there he would help him escape and live this dreadful place, but what he didn't know was with the new serum they infused them with, it came with great power and needed both his host and himself to control the beast in him.

Carlos had waken up from what felt like a deadly sleep , he was drowsy and still feeling the bad effects of the drugs, he was given after his second infusion, his body was burning , the heat that radiated through out his body was unbearable to a point he to which he felt like he had been set on fire from inside. He did not know if what he felt was a bad fever or his was coming down with something, he had watched the others die with something like this , he was scared he would die and never see his family again . He needed to live this place, so he could atleast see his mon and sister one last time, he didnt know the side effects he would have from the serums or drugs his been infused with but he was determined to fight the serum and stay strong for his family , and only because of them, he will make it through all this alive. His need and assurance was to be back home and see his family, that was the only hope and strength he needed to survive what was coming.

He needed to fight this drug and stay alive to be able to leave this place. Vald the being inside him, could listen to his hosts thoughts and sense his anxiety and when in pain he would try to help him fight or take in most of the side effects of the serum, he could not do much cause his host was fighting both him and the serum and he could only help him out if he let him take control and handle the situation the change came with. But the human was fighting him off and the only way they could work or be is if they become one. But his human host was strong and determined to fight that, well he fault to stay alive and to be strong to make it through but in doing so he was denying Vald any control. Vald even tired to talk to the human which unfortunately didnt end well. At this moment Vald was not even sure it was okay as at now to make contact with his human cause the human was unstable. When Vald tried to talk to his human host, the human thought has was going crazy and lossing his mind, cause they was no way that he could have something living i him and helping him make decisions or giving options. He laughed at himself cause he had finally lost his senses with the new isolated room he was in.
