Since he didn't have to accompany Deputy Governor Scott Ping to the welcome banquet, Ethan Cole went straight back to his apartment after work, carrying his newly issued laptop. Normally, Ethan would stay in Holly Fox's apartment. The thought of having a woman do his laundry, cook for him, and go wild with him at night brought a happy smile to Ethan's face.
As the door opened, a delicious aroma wafted out, and Holly Fox was busy in the kitchen. Hearing the door open, Holly turned around and said, "You're back. Take a rest for a while; we'll be ready to eat after a few more dishes are finished."
Ethan put down his bag, went into the kitchen, and hugged Holly from behind, pressing his face against her neck and inhaling her faint fragrance.
