“What do you mean?”
I glanced at the alpha’s brother with a heavy heart. I know I didn’t want him to reject me, but James being aware of our bond is something I don’t want at the moment.
“What are you saying, Nate?” James pushed in.
“What I’m saying is that, if she were to be my mate, I wouldn’t boss her around like that!” He replied, and I didn’t know when I let out a sigh.
“Mateo?” I heard Alpha Kaiser’s voice from behind.

“If she isn’t coming, then fine, but you aren’t coming either!” He turned around and strode off with his hands tucked in his pants pockets.
