Emery’s POV
“Emery?”
“Emery?”
A voice in my head woke me up as I felt a nagging pain. My entire body was on fire, and I felt heavy. I couldn’t move, so I remained in that position for a while before rolling to the other side of the bed.
The room was so warm, and I felt the air going inside of me, like I was naked. I lifted my hand and touched my ass, and it was raw.
I was bloody naked? Did I shift? Did I actually shift and fought against the enemy?
I felt excited and immediately called out to my wolf to confirm, “Sparkles”
A reply didn’t come from her, surprisingly. “Sparkles” I called for the second time as fear kicked in on me.
Have I lost her? Has she finally disappeared? No! No! No! I need to be positive at least for once.
