Killian placed two bowls of ramen on the table, one for himself and one for Dan. Meanwhile, Sophia had already left just as Dan asked Killian to cook something spicy for their dinner.
The red broth, various vegetables, mushrooms, and plenty of beef slices looked incredibly appetizing. The half-cooked eggs floating on the red broth, sprinkled with green onions, made the aroma even more enticing. Besides the ramen, Killian also placed a bag of shrimp chips he had bought during his mission in Hong Kong.
As soon as it was served, Dan started eating voraciously, while Killian watched his brother without saying a word. They didn't speak for a few minutes until Dan finally felt uncomfortable with Killian's intense stare. It felt like intimidation and a threat he had to obey.
