After a long journey to the beachside dock, Anna was rushed to the hospital to treat the stab wound she’d just endured. Luckily, when they brought her in, none of the hospital staff asked too many questions about how she got injured.
At first, Dan thought it was because the hospital didn’t care much. But he was wrong. It turned out Andrew had flashed his CIA badge to the nurse, and when a doctor tried to interrogate him, Andrew spun a web of lies to explain the situation. He even volunteered to act as Anna’s guardian while she was admitted.
