Andrew’s Escape Andrew crouched low behind the bushes, his breath shaky and his body trembling with adrenaline. Wet leaves clung to his face, and through a tiny gap in the foliage, he could see flashlight beams darting closer. The cops were closing in. He’d been hiding there for nearly an hour, the sun dipping below the horizon while the officers refused to give up the chase. From snippets of conversation he overheard, it sounded like the military was about to join the hunt. This was insane! How had his luck turned so sour?
