After managing to escape from the people chasing them, Dan and Andrew asked the driver of the car they hijacked to drop them off in an alley near the intersection close to the city border. Going back to the shopping center—where their bunker was—was out of the question. If they did, they'd be found in no time. So, they decided to get off at a different spot.
