Reunions and an Awakening

"I will be away for a few days, take care of the coven" I say to Amun as I stare him dead in the eye "let no one through and double the security, no one should be left alone, everyone should be accounted for"

"Yes Princess" He answers

"and if anyone asks, tell them the king requested for me"

Antipas is back, that would only mean mother wasn't to far away, I could finally get answers to my questions and this curse can be finally lifted.

dropping my bags at the back of my car, taking the driver sit, I take off into the dead of the night heading to the one place that I know he would be. The palace.

It takes an hour to cross my covens borders and another six hours to get to the palace's borders and another one and thirty minutes to get to the palace itself. As lovely as it is to never be able to actually sleep, I would be lying if I said the journey wasn't excruciatingly painful. I needed the ride any way, I need to empty myself of everything before I literally get blood lust and that has never been a good thing for anyone

it took me more than half a day to finally get to the palace, and the environment looked exceptionally well kept for a place that had just under gone an attack.

walking past everyone into the palace with my bags in hand, I head upstairs to my room, placing my bags down I feel a presence by the door.

"Antipas, finally decided to grace us with your presence" I say standing straight but with my back to him "How is she?" I asked still sounding calm

"oh, brother welcome home, would be any little sisters regards to her elder brother" Antipas speaks

still staring at nothing in particular. He walks into my room and lays on my bed

"So little sis what have you been up to?" I still give him no reply but this time stare at him with a straight face.

"I see, you haven't stopped this attitude of neglecting everyone" he says " I should stop keeping you on hold then, she is fine, she sends her warm regards"

"okay" I reply, turning around to leave the room he holds me by the arm.

"Wouldn't you like to know when she will be coming to see you?" he says

"well then I just have to tell you any way" he says "she will be here when the blood moon is at its peak and oh the fun that will begin"

I stare him in the eye but give him no ounce of emotion, after all mother didn't train me like that.

"Okay, I would just have to be patient and kill her right this time"

I walk out the door and make my way to the infirmary.

"Your majesty" the nurse at the counter speaks up

"where is the King?"

"He is in the private ward on the fifth floor, he is expecting you"

Aria arises from her sit and walks out of the kingdom into the woods, still focused and confused by the voices that have returned to haunt her mind.

it's almost time for the deep awakening, an awakening Aria never wanted again, her last awakening made her vulnerable to her mother's attacks.

pacing thought the woods Aria could only think of how to stop the awakening from happening this time when a sudden heartbeat distracted her.

the heartbeat was coming from the opposite direction and it was accompanied by heavy footsteps that sounded more like paws and heavy breathing, with a certain stench she knew too well. the stench of wet dogs

"Ramsey prepare the troops we will be having unwanted guests tonight"

She spoke just loud enough for only him to hear.

She stands still as she listens. she waits, her eyes steady, her focus sharp a paw at a time drew the enemy closer to her. her mind empty of previous distractions. just a paw away from the borders,

she speaks up.

"stop right there if you come in peace and if you want to go back in one piece"

she speaks from so far a distance the enemy cannot treat her so they come to a stop. they wait nervously as they expect and attack and as the wait for the face to The voice.

"what brings you so far from home you're too far away from your usual borders"

she says

the enemy with trembling lips speaks up

"we have come in search for the one called Aria Ambrogio"

she takes steady steps towards the presence of the enemy. No fear in her eyes, no remorse in her words not even an epitome of worry because she knows and so does the enemy that she can send the all to their graves within a few seconds.

Still staring at them, she says nothing awaiting the message that was sent for her. She keeps a stoic face, no emotions present only the face and a body of someone that is ready to spill blood to protect the Kingdom and to protect what she knows as what she loved.

"I am she" she say

they all bow down before her

"Your majesty we have come with grave news from the one named Nefertiti Ambrogio"

"I should kill you all now cause the one that comes with a message from her deserves nothing but death but as it stands my clan do not believe in killing the one who brings the message so if you may speak up"

"she asks for a sitting with the King or else the entire Kingdom will be torn down and their lives of each wolf clan will be torn apart"

Aria stares at them I'm waiting something else that deserves her time, with that they notice and they hasten message

"she says she she will give you the cure to your curse and not inflict it on any other person or any other clan if you but allow her a sitting with the King"

"go back and tell her she will not have a sitting with the King and all she spills out is nothing but lies that cannot buy her back into the King's presence and the next time I see her I'll make sure I kill her right" She says "now leave my borders and never repeat this mistake again"

they bow to her as they turn to leave, but then another stops and turns back to her and says
