Chapter Forty-Four Kisha On the planet Haas, in a tidy terrace-house on the outskirts of the city of Haaseen, the dawn’s first rays filtered between the tall buildings of the city’s heart. Kisha looked out of the front window as sunlight kissed frost, and the steady drip, drip, drip of melt-water began to sound in the down-pipes. She turned as her ma pulled a jumper and leggings from the welcome-pack they’d been given and held them up as if comparing her for size. Kisha made a face.
