*Henrietta* It's a strange thing, being so incredibly aware of him, sensing his presence in the residence even when we are not in the same room. I know when Dimos is on the verge of entering the dining room, just before he crosses the threshold. I look up from my desk just before he strides into the library. I know when he's wandering about his bedchamber, unable to sleep, and when he takes his wanderings farther into other rooms. Somehow, I even feel when he's exiting the residence. Within my bedchamber, I'm lounging in a chair by the window, reading with Snoopy in my lap, when I become aware of Dimos engaging in the latter and taking his leave. I stand up so quickly that Snoopy scrambles down my skirt to the floor. Parting the draperies, I see Dimos striding up the street. I curse h
