11 Bran was the only person in the library. He made his way across the room to me with a cup of coffee. “Jeanette had to step out for a moment, but she’ll be back. You look exhausted.” “Thanks,” I said. I leaned my elbows against a bookshelf, but realized I couldn’t use both hands for my coffee that way. And I couldn’t do saucer and cup one-handed. I settled for one elbow on the bookshelf and twisting the other arm around to meet it.
