Chapter Twenty-OneWhirling winds encircled the battling Fey; a swirling white cyclone of chaos enwrapping chaos. As the blustering gales increased, the biting cold grew inescapable and the enshrouding mantle grasped everything it encountered with a numbing clasp. Even Legionnaires who were accustomed to discomfort found themselves shivering violently as the remorseless cold robbed the struggling Fey of their innate agility and dexterity in its compassionless embrace. The battle waned, leaving weary, shivering, snow-encrusted Fey staring at each other with exhausted hostility.
