LOVE AFTER DIVORCE

CHAPTER TWO: HIS CURIOSITY PIQUED.

Sarah tossed and turned in her bed, her mind racing with thoughts of the handsome stranger she had met earlier that day. His name was John, and he had an air of mystery about him that intrigued her. They had met at City Hotel and Restaurant and she had fallen for him.

As the night wore on, Sarah found herself unable to sleep. She replayed their encounter over and over in her mind, wondering if she had made an impression on him. She couldn't shake the feeling that there was something special about him, something that made her heart flutter.

Meanwhile, John lay awake in his own bed, his mind consumed by thoughts of Sarah. He couldn't believe how effortlessly they had connected, even if it was just for a few minutes. Her smile had lit up the room, and he couldn't help but feel drawn to her. He wondered if she felt the same way, if she had been thinking about him as much as he had been thinking about her.

John woke up with a smile on his face, his heart still fluttering from the words Sarah had spoken the previous day. "I have feelings for you," she had said, and those five simple words had filled his entire being with joy and hope.

As he made his way to the kitchen, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the air, courtesy of his trusty coffee maker. John poured himself a cup and took a moment to savor the rich, invigorating taste. Today was going to be a special day, and he wanted to start it off right. That's why he decided to make breakfast for himself rather than his servants.

With his coffee in hand, John opened the refrigerator and scanned its contents. He had a sudden craving for a hearty breakfast, something that would fuel him for the day ahead. Eggs, bacon, and toast seemed like the perfect combination.

As he gathered the ingredients, John couldn't help but replay Sarah's words in his mind. But yesterday, everything had changed. Sarah had confessed her love for him, and he couldn't have been happier.

With a newfound spring in his step, John cracked the eggs into a bowl and whisked them vigorously. He added a pinch of salt and pepper, then poured the mixture into a sizzling pan. The sound of the eggs sizzling brought a smile to his face, a symphony of anticipation.

While the eggs cooked, John placed the bacon in another pan, relishing in the sound of it. In a few minutes, his breakfast was ready and he ate it still with the memorial of Sarah in his mind. He made up his mind to tell his family about Sarah.

He walked to the Li's mansion where he found the rest of the family seated taking breakfast, he greeted them with smiles and his elder brother and the young master of Light group knew already knew that his vice had something important to say.

John sat at the table, a smile playing on his lips as he recounted the events of the day to his family. They had just met Sarah, his new friend, and he couldn't wait to share his excitement with his loved ones.

"So, guys, you won't believe who I met yesternight," John began, his eyes sparkling with enthusiasm. "Her name is Sarah, and she is absolutely amazing!"

His older brother and the President of Light Group, looked up from his plate, his curiosity piqued. "Tell us more, John! What's so special about Sarah?"

John chuckled, happy to have captured their attention. "Well, first of all, she has the most infectious laugh. It's like music to my ears. And her smile, oh, it could light up the darkest room. I couldn't help but feel instantly drawn to her positive energy."

Their mother, Mary, leaned forward, her interest evident. "That sounds lovely, dear. How did you two meet?"

John took a sip of water before continuing. "We bumped into each other at the City Hotel and Restaurant yesternight. I was taking my supper at the hotel and I just caught her staring at me."

His father, David, nodded approvingly. "It's always nice to meet new people, especially those who share similar interests. Did you find out anything else about her?"

John's eyes lit up as he recalled their conversation and said "she said she has feelings for me." The whole family was filled with joy, they could not believe that the ever lonely John now has someone to love. His elder brother and the President of Light Group appreciated him and said he could not wait to see her in the family ,the wife of the President was enthusiastic and congratulated him alongside his parents.
