Chapter 3 His advances

Alexandra's POV

......."Don't worry Richard, I also want this drama to end" I slipped and bit my tongue so hard that I almost tasted my own blood just to stop myself from talking back. Liam kept his gaze upon us until I got in front of him.

"Take good care of my daughter Liam". My father patted Liam's shoulder like a proud parent. Liam forcefully took my hand from my father when he noticed I was only looking and didn't have the plan to take his hand. He ignored my Richard and not even spared a single glance.

No words and anything he held my hand like I am some delicate flower as he put my hands around his arm like a real gentleman he keeps his eyes at me as we walked to the altar.

I loathe him…the man who's supposed to be there, abandoned me. He just watched me suffer alone. I abhor him to my very core. I feel suffocating just by being beside him.

If not for my revenge I will not let him near me, or breathe the same air with him. How should I trick this man? I’m so busy thinking of ways that I did not hear his words.

"What are you thinking my princess?" He asked.

“Huh” I mentally palmed my head

“Let me guess.....someone?

“or some….other guy?”He hummed softly into my ear.

“Do tell me love cause I hate it when you're thinking of another guy ". He tilted my chin despite the veil covering my face.

He's such a disgusted man, memories of the past flow like ocean waves in my head. Where I caught him with my step sister Lourine f*****g in her room. Damned them.

I literally roll my eyes, I want to smack and beat him and I tell him that it's him. And how disgusted he is but I just keep my mouth closed. I take a long breath, “I need this so patient…. Alexa” I chant mentally.

"Stop it Luke" I roll my eyes behind the veil and slap his hand away from my face.

He narrowed his eyes at me, something he usually does when was losing some patients, with tipped lips he took a breath as we stood in front of the altar........
