Chapter 11

I woke up feeling like s**t. I had a headache and my whole body hurt.

I looked around and I was in my room. All the memories from last night came back.

I got up and ran to the bathroom I felt sick. I threw up and someone came into my room.

"Lexi" Hayden's voice filled my ears and I threw up again.

I wiped my face and got up.

"What are you still doing here" I asked and moved away. He caught my arm and looked at me.

"Did I do that" he was touching my arm were the scratch marks were healing.

"No now get out"

"Lexi why are you being like this"

"You practically broke up with me because I didn't tell you about Jake. You didn't say bye you didn't answer any of my calls or texts and now your acting all caring and s**t"

He huffed "you’re still my PA"

He didn't deny it, so we're not together anymore.

"Not for long" I mumbled.

"Your contract was 2 years" he stated angry.

"Yes I know but I found a loophole. If I pay you 10 thousand I get to leave the company, I spoke to my lawyer and he's getting my papers sorted"

"Lexi, don't" he warned me

"Why not" he smashed his lips to mine and kissed me.

"I love you Lexi" he mumbled I pushed him away.

"Don't say that to me because it's not true, I have given up on love. I thought I loved you and I still do but you’re just like him you just left me. Alone on my own with my family not knowing anything and me wondering what I did wrong" the tears were pouring down my face.

"What I'm about to tell you should not be repeated to anyone. Sit down. Jake has filed a case against me, he's giving our company a bad name. He wanted me to give you up to break up with you. He was manipulating my customers and telling them twisted things about me and I was losing my business. Lexi I thought by breaking up with you he would leave us alone and it's been working so far"

"So I'm the cause of this, I should just leave your life forever. I'm not good enough for the job anyways and I’m definitely not good enough for you" he cupped my cheeks.

"I love you do you understand that won't change you aren't leaving me I won't let you. I have an idea though. We could pretend to be broken up. But in the office where no one can see us we will still be together. It's only for a while just while we clear up the rumours and cut all ties with Jake's company properly. Seeing you like that yesterday was killing me and knowing it was my fault. I felt horrible, I brought you home and I couldn't leave. Being away from you and not talking to you was killing me. I missed you so much Lexi I love you"

"I love you Hayden I'm sorry for being like that" he kissed me again and lay me down in the bed.

We made out for a while and my phone rang. We broke apart and I saw it was Bella I ignored it and kissed him again. It stopped ringing and I smiled into the kiss.

"Why is it that whenever we kiss someone always has to interrupt us" he shrugged his shoulders.

"When we're on our honeymoon no one will" I pulled away from him he just said honeymoon. "Calm down we won't be getting married yet" he kissed my nose and I thought about it. Could I get married to him or will he leave me at the alter like Jake.

I was heading back to work today and Hayden had a plan. The day was weird because I saw Jake more times than I would have liked too.

I was sat at my desk in Hayden's office typing away and Hayden came in. He locked the door and came towards me.

"You look sexy today" I was wearing a tight white dress and blazer. He started kissing my neck and I giggled. It was late and we were both tired. I wanted to take Hayden home with me but we couldn't.

I was making my way to my car and Jake came towards me. "So I heard that you and Hayden had a bad break up" I clenched my jaw.

"We broke up it’s not your business so go away" I moved away.

"So why are you still working here" nosy jack ass.

"Again not your concern but I'm stuck here for two years my contract says so but I'm looking for a loophole can't stand this place"

"Why not you used to love me being around all he time. Cuddling and kissing was your thing"

"It was, past tense I'm done with the both of us so f**k off you can pass the message along too"

I got in my car and drove home,you did pretty well there Lexi well done. I smiled and video called Hayden when I got home. I had my laptop on and was calling him whilst I was making dinner.

"Hey I just got home, by the way your bum looks sexy at this angle" Hayden's face popped up and I smiled.

"Thank you, have you eaten" he nodded

"Yeah I brought KFC on the way home"

I poured my good and was eating. Hayden was talking about Jake.

"Thank you by the way f**k off the message was passed along"

I giggled and got into bed, "sorry I had to make it believable"

"It's fine just don't wear anything too tight tomorrow you have to do that presentation with me and I won't be able to concentrate" I nodded

We were both lying jn bed and Hayden took his clothes off, I was wearing a tank top and shorts. Let's play with him.

I took my bra off without showing my boobs. He looked at my chest and gulped.

"I need a cold shower and sleep"

"I will see you tomorrow, I love you Hayden"

"Love you too" he kissed the camera and so did I and we disconnected.
