Today, I decided to visit Mom and Dad in Daegu while my schedule is not yet hectic. And it's been a while since I've been with them. And I miss them.
We were all at the dining table and Mom was busy preparing lunch. Dad and I were talking about my stay in New York. And he seems happy that I'm okay now and building my career on my own.
It was nice talking with Dad this way.
No pressure.
No disappointments.
Just us.
I sighed "So how was the politics?" I asked him.
"It's good. I am doing well. I love this public service thing. It's like I can help many people here in Daegu." He sips his coffee.
I nodded and smiled "You're doing a great job, Dad."
He pats me on my shoulder and smiled warmly "Thank you, Son."
"How about the company? Still going strong?" I sipped my coff
