CHAPTER 17
MONIQUE
The rain was pouring this morning. Dino and I will meet at the seaside today. So I did all the chores so that I could leave early.
It has been a week since I found out about Mom and Chairman Yoon's plan for me. But I never heard one of them tell me.
But something changed for Mom after that. She no longer drinks and gambles too much. She has always been kind to me and takes care of me. Sometimes I don’t know if I just feel it. But there are times when she can't even look directly at me.
I said goodbye to her leaving. I wore a Mustard colored long dress and I just let my hair down. I adjusted myself a bit. Because I want to prepare something like this for Dino.
