Gideon POV
Zeus is in almost full control of my human body. The rage felt between the two of us is pulsing through my body. Seeing the blood drip down Zoe’s beautiful face snapped something inside of me. I instantly wanted to protect her, which is another foreign feeling. I want to kill the f*****g scum responsible for drawing her blood. I raise my fist and bring it down as hard as I can into his face. Over and over again. I’ve completely lost control. I cannot stop punching, until I feel tingles shoot up my leg. The sensation draws me out of my daze, and I realize Zoe has crawled over to me. She stops me from killing him right before she collapses.
I reach out and catch her just in time. I bring her softly into my chest and in hale her sweat scent that’s now mixed with the metallic smel
