I’m almost done getting ready for the graduation ceremony when I hear Grace shriek coming down the hall. She enters my bedroom and I hear a cork pop. “We did it Z!” she screeches as she pours two glasses of champagne. “Courtesy of my folks.” She says, holding up the bottle. We clink glasses and take a sip.
“Wow Z I really like that dress on you!” she runs her eyes up and down my figure. I bought another dress since the first one is probably still in the ally way tainted by Walter. So I decided on a lavender fitted dress with an open back and black rhinestone-studded shoes. It's my favorite color after all. I put my mom's favorite diamond earrings on and look at myself.
