Zoe POV
“Where are we going?” The woods are so thick in this part it's hard to see even with our excellent sight. Gideon is still holding my hand, leading me through the woods. I can no longer hear the music, so we must have moved a good distance away from the bonfire.
“I’m bringing you somewhere only two other people know about. It’s a special place my dad and I used to go to when we wanted to decompress. It’s like a haven.”
“Are you sure you want to bring me to your haven? Wouldn’t you want to keep it to yourself?”
He turns around and even in the darkness I can see his stunning blue eyes. He begins to kiss the fingers still entwined with his. “You are special to me. I want to share this with you.”
