7 They were flying south, very close to the seashore, only about a hundred feet above the water in order to dodge any radars and avoid any further troubles with their secret mission. Brian was squeezed between two stocky officers, restrained and despondent. Nearly three quarters of an hour into the bumpy ride and the cyclone had moved to the north, so the summer sun reappeared in the sky, just above the fleeting clouds, and shone brightly through the cockpit.
