Veronica's POV
It's finally time for him to pick me up and the sound of the doorbell tells me he's here.
I'm basically glowing on the outside but my mind's all over the place.
I straighten my forehead and chant to myself over and over again “ no worry lines, no worry lines. Keep your mind on Jonas and not on Daniel. Mind on Jonas and not on Daniel. ”
I take a deep breathe and hurry to go let him in knowing that I'd made him stay out for too long.
He smiles at me when I open the door and I smile right back at him.
We compliment each other and in the next hour we find ourselves at the house of taste.
