“okay Boss we will send a van and forensics right away to your location just stay on the call so that our team can locate you… Don’t be scared okay just stay with the corpse until the Van arrives can you do that for me sir?” the Officer firmly speaks at the other end. “Yes sir I can.” He exhales sharply feeling the absurdity of this current situation. Remembering that he still hasn’t sent the location to the lady. He tapped the phone realizing that it wasn’t locked, who could do this to such a handsome and peaceful man? He sadly looked at his kids on the w******p profile picture sadly shaking his head, he had such beautiful kids who looked up to him man. He sent the live location and took a picture of the corpse and sent it to the number saved as Mrs Smith 1st this was kind of odd because there was more than one Mrs Smith on his log Mrs Smith 2nd, Mrs Smith to be? Is this a joke? This man doesn’t look like the type to have many wives. Oh the there’s Luzuko’s mother's number also saved on his log too ‘Ma Luzuko’ what the hell is going on!? Luzuko’s head pounding hard with all these questions and confusion he taps on the dial tab to call his mothers number it rings once before she answers it “Vusi please leave me alone I told you I will never ever take you back not after everything you’ve done to me! My husband is the only thing that matters to me now, I don’t want your money I’d rather die of cancer than have you flaunting your dirty money for my health, Luzuko will never know about you!” she coughs so painfully making his heart ache even more with these new discoveries. His mind almost close to bursting now he started off with the wailing and openly crying his lungs out realizing the meaning of his connection to this man was that he was actually his father! The one his mother has been hiding all along! How could she do this to him? After so many years of the pain he suffered at that evil man’s hands there was actually a chance for him to have a normal childhood! He felt nothing but resentment for his mother right now! He punched the ground letting out the loudest cry he has ever given. He felt his head spin and suddenly darkness struck his eyes, he couldn’t feel his body and surely couldn’t pace with his breathing rate now. He felt his lungs slowly failing him. All he could feel was a tightness on his chest which made it hard for him to breathe. He felt his body softly landing on the ground. And his eyes shut. His mind completely off and his Breathing stopped. Chapter 3 NCUMISA SMITH-jama This morning has been one hell of a ride for the Smith-Jama family. The reason Ncumisa has 2 surnames is that she comes from a very wealthy family of Jama from Eastern cape. One of the biggest Surnames in the country. The superpowers running the largest mines and Ireland’s. Mr Jama was the wealthiest man alive to a point that he couldn’t let his first daughter the princess of kwa Qhonqo in the greatest families in Eastern cape. Due to some bankruptcy that occurred on the his company due to his late’s wife sickness which sunk a lot deeper on his pockets day by day. He had to end up making allies with Mr Joseph Smith, another wealthy man, owning half of everything Mr Jama has and more of his own equity. Their alliance had been great to a point that he allowed his daughter to marry his youngest son Vusumuzi Smith who turned out to be a bastard!. A whoring husband and an unfaithful father! Their marriage lasted 10 years and still running but both parties have separated. Although still legally married. Confusing right? Vusi and Ncumisa parted ways the first moment he laid hands on her and left her with the marriage and moved on, for finding out that she cheated on him with one of the workers in their yard. Ncumisa did everything in her power to stop Vusi from leaving her, she even hid the fact that he had terribly beaten her the previous night they fought and he left. She still cannot stop thinking of the pain she had felt that day when he came with Charity! Pathetic Charity on about he loved her and wanted blessings from Ncumisa to marry her. She obviously had begged enough and like an independent woman she was, she had to let him go. So she did and gone was her lover. Only to find out that Now he is dead! After everything they’ve been doing together in secret trying to rekindle the fire in their relationship, yes Vusi came back running after 3 months of that ridiculous wedding with a woman twice his age. He came crawling to Ncumisa asking that they at least keep it a secret, they thought that if they sneaked around their relationship would have that little spark and which was true. Ncumisa and Vusi were better off sneaking around with each other than being together, he couldn’t bring himself to forgive her and she could no longer feel like she belonged to him alone and besides it was healthy for the kids to see them together from time to time. Spending family vacations together and always attending school functions together, it worked pretty well for both of them. Ncumisa had a boyfriend whom she flaunted for everyone and Vusi had a trophy wife they were good. Ncumisa snapped out of her thoughts while still staring at her late ex husband’s corpse peacefully laying there, with no temperature or whatsoever she blinked and swallowed hard a lump of pain and screams boiling up and finally letting all of it go. She screamed so loud that everyone in the morgue was just standing there looking at the poor woman crying bitterly. Luzuko held her and hugged her tightly “Why!? Lord” she held on to him and sobbed openly while the police closed the body and returned it to the fridge. “Okay we need to contact the rest of the family mam, contact your funeral parlor” the morgue manager taps Ncumisa’s shoulder giving it a little squeeze sympathizing with her… She took our her handkerchief from her purse and waved at her chauffeur by the door, he came pacing towards her with so much concern in his eyes “mam should I get you anything?” he carefully held her hugging her like he felt her pain as raw as it was. “call my father and everyone else, call our morgue” she said giving him her phone and turning her attention back to the fridge that had her soulmate inside. “who did this?” she turned to the police officers standing next to her “we don’t know yet this case is not under our jurisdiction we have given every report to the Johannesburg police station. Investigation and case filing can be done at their stations I’m so sorry for your loss miss but please kindly step away from this room so that we can conceal evidence” the kind female officer humbly spoke to Ncumisa trying to reason with her in the most decent manner “I’m okay, I’m a big girl…come on Ncumisa be strong” she sobbed softly consoling herself as she slowly walked out of the room going to her car. “you need to come with me sir” the funny looking police officer tapped Luzuko’s shoulder, we need to do some tests and have you confirm your prints on the corpse, this is now a high profiled case, for now just relax we need to confirm your statement along with the evidence” he stepped closer giving him one of those friendly smiles making him feel welcomed. “I will bring him to the station in Johannesburg Tomorrow sir if that’s okay with you, after all he is not the one who killed my husband, son come I will take you home so we can address your family about this” Ncumisa took out her glasses and wore them. “okay mam. That is so kind of you we will see you guys tomorrow Morning” the officer bid his goodbyes and hurried back to his Van, “Mthethwa, Istoko lesa! Wavele wabuya nje?” Khumalo mocked at the funny looking officer while they all burst out laughing “ahh Man I’m not like that” he blushed turning his eyes to the road.
