GIOVANNI’S POV  I closed the bedroom door behind me and leaned against it, pressing my palms flat against the wood. My hands were still shaking and I looked down at them, staring at the fingers that had been wrapped around Arya's throat not twenty minutes ago and felt something crack inside my chest. I almost killed her, the woman who brought me back from the nightmare with nothing but the gentle touch of her hands on my face. I pushed off the door and crossed the room, falling onto the bed face-down without bothering to remove my shoes.
