Sattia was shocked as they stared at the monitor. They had just finished watching the exchange between Vallorie and Shelly. Had Vallorie really been friends with her mother? Had she really spent all these years just trying to protect her child? Why couldn’t she just escape? Why didn’t she just contact her family? Somehow she was left with more questions than answers.
